Two Moreno Valley schools recognized for high academic achievement and student success

MORENO VALLEY, Calif. – North Ridge Elementary School and Hidden Springs Elementary School have been recognized as 2025 Educational Results Partnership (ERP) Honor Roll Schools for their sustained commitment to high academic achievement and student success.

The ERP Honor Roll program, sponsored by the Campaign for Business and Education Excellence (CBEE), is part of a national effort to identify higher-performing schools and districts that are improving student outcomes and preparing students with the skills employers value and demand. North Ridge and Hidden Springs Elementary are two of 1,834 eligible public schools in California to be recognized.

The ERP Honor Roll utilizes public school student achievement data from 2025 to identify successful schools and districts. These two Moreno Valley Unified School District schools stand above others in the state because of their demonstrated ability to raise students to grade-level achievement and beyond.

Schools that receive the ERP Honor Roll distinction have demonstrated:

  • Consistently high levels of student academic achievement.
  • Improvement in achievement levels over time.
  • A reduction in achievement gaps among student populations.

The following are some important details about the prestigious ERP Honor Roll award:

  • It is the only award given in collaboration with state and local business leaders.
  • It establishes a high bar of performance using robust student assessment data.
  • It is conducted by the Educational Results Partnership, a nonprofit organization that developed the nation’s largest database on student achievement.

“We are deeply honored to receive this recognition and truly humbled to be acknowledged for the work in supporting students and public education,” said Hidden Springs Elementary School Principal Dr. Todd Reed. “This award is not just a reflection of our communities efforts, and of the collective dedication of our educators, families, and community who work tirelessly each day to make a difference in the lives of children.”

At Hidden Springs Elementary, staff believe in learning, leading, and collaboration, values that guide everything they do. It’s through these shared commitments that they continue to empower students to reach their fullest potential and become compassionate, capable leaders of tomorrow.

“This California Honor Roll recognition belongs to the entire North Ridge community,” said Sam Stager, school principal at North Ridge Elementary School. “Our students show curiosity and courage, our teachers champion growth, and our families stand with us every step of the way. Together, we are doing something special here.”
North Ridge values parents as part of their work in education, and STEM is woven into just about everything they do because they want their students to think critically, collaborate, and solve real-world problems. That combination is helping children grow with confidence and curiosity.

The Moreno Valley Unified School District highlighted both schools at its board meeting on October 28, 2025.
