To the world, Kelly Anderson may be “just a teacher,” but to her students and colleagues
she is a true hero who shines brighter with Excellence on Purpose. Kelly inspires her
scholars to write their stories and be proud of who they are as I have often heard her say
they are important and all have gifts to share with the world. Kelly has gone above and
beyond by starting North Ridge Autism Awareness Month and the North Ridge choir. A
loving mother, caring teacher, a devoted friend; Kelly is a hero who embodies “Excellence
on Purpose.” When you walk into her classroom you know she and her students are
“Shining Brighter” due to her equitable dedication and passion for learning.
